Nowadays buying a TV is not an easy task. LG, again made it easy for the consumer to pick the right TV for them. Tight range, impressive and intuitive smart, great and affordable TVs. Let's make it clear, we are talking here about Full High Definition Televisions. The Ultra HD is another world in which not all of us have can find their place in. Lets go back to the LG 2014 range. There are three different levels of picture quality offered. The mighty 7 series LG TV's is an amazing choice, great contrast, black and white levels, unbelievable smart side and the well known passive LG Cinema 3D which makes the TV Dual Play Ready(LG exclusive). Yes but the prices are still quite expensive even it is worth every cent. The 6 Series from another side is much more affordable. It has lower refresh rate than the 7 series, but it has the same WebOS smart side, the same 3D and such. But, yes there is "but", it has not as good sound, not as sexy design and it is not the best(we all wan't the best I guess). And there it comes, the 5 series and particularly the 580v. It is 100MCI refresh rate set, with great for the class contrast levels. What is interesting about it is, it still has in his hart the very simple and yet huge Netcast operating system. It gives the user access to massive amount of apps, Time Machine which allows scheduled recording of picture flowing into the set through the built in digital and satellite tuners and more. But what makes it that special? There are few things which made me buy one. First of all, compare to the same class TVs in the other brands it comes with amazing motion handling capabilities. I can easily say that the 100MCI(Hz) set performs as good if not even better than the 400Hz competitive other brands models. Movies, sports, documentaries, news- they all look great. How is this exactly happening? There is a nice feature which is called LG TrueMotion. It is technology which allows the set to multiply frames making from the few frames per second picture, loads frames per second picture. That gives you nice and smooth motion picture at all times. The smart side is great as well, easy to use, full web browser, great amount of apps and last but not least, fast performance, The hardware of the set is selected according to the software needs, which grantees nice and smooth use, with no delays and lagging. What else will make you buy this entry level TV? Yes, the price. The TV came on the Irish market on price of 689 euro and now is available in the retailers for around 500 euro mark. Think about it, great picture, great smart, satellite tuner, digital tuner, lovely design and all that for the price of basic 32 inch TV from 3 years ago. That explains it all, doesn't it? Still if you can afford the extra few hundred I would recommend going for the 7 series as remember, we all want the best!
